BAKE A CAKE SUNDAY

Picture
It's bake a cake Sunday,
she said with a grin.
As she mixed the ingredients
and tipped them all in.

She whizzed them together,
set the mix in the tin.
Then she turned on the oven
and put it all in.

The cake it rose up
to a towering height
As it jerked and it bubbled
in a baker's delight

The baking tin rattled
as the cake puffed up high
We watched and we waited
as it rose to the sky

Such power and excitement
in the oven that day
When the timer called time
we all cried 'hooray'

See me on.......
