PIGASUS
A cardboard box arrived today
Been waiting a couple of weeks
He’s here, I cried
As I pulled at the top
Determined to have a peek
I opened the box and yes it was him
Pigasus – noble in red
Up front on the mug
In his splendid attire
And wings majestically spread
He said it had been an easy trip
By plane from Australia to here
Wrapped up well
To prevent any drops
Until he got the all clear
I need to stretch my wings, he said
As he flew around the room
Yes, this is ok
So now I’m home
And we can party soon
